We first worked on this show back in 2024, when it was then known as Between the Lines. It was brilliant to work with Set Designer Tina Torbey again, alongside Production Manager William Deady, on this new version of the production.
There’s even a little S.A.S Works history wrapped up in this build. Back in 2024, we moved into a bigger workshop while we were building the original production. Fast forward to 2026 and we’ve done it all over again, moving to our new, even bigger workshop in Sittingbourne while building Blaze FM!
It’s been fantastic to see this project evolve from its early days into the production it is today. Blaze FM is an electrifying piece of political gig theatre, combining Grime, Garage, Drill and Jungle with a powerful story set around a Hackney pirate radio station.
