Two iconic operas. One beautifully simple set.
We're really pleased to be reunited with designer Peiyao Wang for Opera Holland Park's Trouble in Tahiti & The Seven Deadly Sins, a striking double bill bringing together Bernstein and Weill for an evening exploring the glossy surface of the American Dream and what lies underneath.
A simple but very effective build, designed to let the performances, movement and storytelling take centre stage.
And there's something we particularly love about this one: the set hasn't gone to waste. We've reclaimed the materials so they can be used again on future projects.
